"yesterday you said tomorrow"
I love the start of a new month! To me they always represent the perfect time to recharge and get back into the swing of things! And since today is April 1st, I am going to do a little revamping of my own! It is with that spirit that I want to focus this week's coffee talk around a place where changes happen; both internal and external. That place that we as women either love to hate or learn to love: the gym.
I will be honest and say that its been very hard for me to fester up the motivation to lace up my Nike's since spring break has come and gone. And not that I'm in the final stretch to graduation, finding both the time or the energy has been slim to none. But I miss it. I love challenging myself and pushing my body to reach it's full potential. I miss waking up sore and watching my body get stronger. And I know that none of those things will be accomplished while I'm laying in bed.
So today I want to pose this question to you, what is your gym motivation? What gets you out of bed? For me, motivation comes from everywhere. Whether its the girl next to me kicking butt on the elliptical, or Khloe Kardashian's weight loss journey (she looks AMAZING!!), sometimes I just see something and instantly snap back into my gym rat mentality.
So I'd love to hear from you!! Getting out the door is half the battle so hopefully we can encourage each other to stay fit! Feel free to share what kind of workouts you do at the gym or your favorite cardio song (we all have one lets be honest). Nothing is off limits.
